The point our client wanted to make was how easy it now was for their eCommerce customers to trade into China. We proposed the concept above as a stand, but to add a bit of punch and impact to get people to actively participate we set up an Augmented Reality overlay which they could view through mobile devices. The overlay sequence we created is shown below and the film on the right shows how the stand looked viewed through a tablet. If they then tapped Stu or Emma, they got a live  video delivery of how the barriers to China have come down. This approach generated loads of interest and 'noise' in a busy environment  A triumph!

We created Colin to embody the misery of people having to wait in all day for packages that never appear. The client's innovative product wnCollect allowed their retailers to give their customers the option of PUDO, or Pick Up Drop Off. So we created a larger than life cut-out of Colin and chained him by the ankle to a gigantic parcel which carried the key messaging. On stand we also had  a giant plasma screen which alternated between the product video you see below (which we wrote and produced), plus an on-screen competition to win a couple of rather lovely Bulova watches. You wouldn't believe how much footfall and prospect data this generated for wnDirect!

We always try to drive traffic on-stand and the pre-show prospect mailer (and the on-stand flyer) were in the form of a Chinese Takeaway menu (mailed out with a Chinese lantern of course!) This included a competition to win a meal for two in Chinatown. And it worked! (Of course we had to check out a few of the restaurants first though...)

DHL Global Mail Exhibition Stand and pre-show Mailer

-From 'Mouse2House' was demonstrated in a visually impactful way by our on-stand design. We also drove traffic to the stand with the offer of a limited number of high value 'coffee table' books 'The Earth from the Air' - an apt giveaway for a Global Logistics company. Such was the response, the DHL on-stand sales team ran out of books and ended up having to order more!

For the launch of a product called wnControlTower which monitors parcel movements globally,  we proposed creating a 3D control tower next to the key messaging stand, complete with runway and landing lights . The Control Tower, topped with red flashing light, also held a plasma screen on which we ran a cut-down version of the full product video, featuring a competition to win dinner at the Oxo Tower.

There was pre-show trade press support to drive on-stand footfall, with a competition to win dinner for two at the Oxo Tower. To enter, they would have to watch the on-stand promotional video above and collect their entry form from the on-stand team to complete it. This was very well subscribed, so much so that we carried on the competition (changing the towers every month) on the client's website for several months after the event, it generated a lot of very valuable data!

This exhibition stand made it clear to our client's American retailers that it's very simple to access the 740 million customers eager to buy in the EU (this was obviously before the recent 

referendum result!)

...and we carried this concept through with two facing stands at a further US exhibition emphasising how easy it now was to export around the world...

DLT provides a choice of high-quality, smart, contemporary magazines to enhance their clients' reception areas and improve customer experience. What's more, they offer the magazines at up to 70% off the cover price. They wanted a trade exhibition stand promoting this. We used the line 'GIVE CLIENTS A BETTER RECEPTION' - with the lettering made from the covers of all the magazines they can supply. It combined with an on-stand incentive to win an iPad, plus a high impact follow-up mailer from leads captured from the events.

DATA TOOLS - and finally, an exhibition stand promoting a data management product called Data Tools, what better way to show it's versatility than this....
